We had a root barrier installed (BioBarrier) and the team did a great job. During installation one of the sprinkler pipes was damaged, but they made a run to Home Depot and fixed it right away. Cleaned up after themselves nicely. Staff is courteous and the old owner/new owner (I dealt with both) are attentive and professional. They want to make sure everything is done properly which I really appreciate.
This is the second time Nelson Foundation has done work for us. Both times, they were honest and said that we did not need foundation work but a much needed root barrier. The crew came and finished the job and cleaned up. Great experiences both times!

Nelson crew was on time, did a fantastic job, and put everything back together as best as could be done (you can't take out sod and then put it back without leaving some traces that someone was there!). The crew went the extra mile and dug out where the flag stone path was next to the barrier, so all were level and solid instead of rocking like they had beforehand! Overall, it was a great job!
The Nelson crew arrived on time and completed the quoted work promptly and efficiently. They also used excess soil to fill low areas in the yard without being asked to do so. They left the site clean and tidy.

I hired them to put in over 65’ of root barriers in the front side of my house. They are extremely professional; showed up in time in the morning and finished the work in a day a a half. Most importantly, they rebuilt the surface almost exactly to its original shape, to a point that it is difficult to realize such a massive operation had happened. They cleaned up all the area very well and hauled away the excess dirt and other garbage. They did not give us the cheapest quote, but having dealt with several incompetent contractors, they were worth the extra cost.
